A terra cotta bust of general Berlier of the French Revolution and the Napoleonic Empire. This painted terra cotta bust depicts the general at the peak of his command around 1815. Created a baron of the Empire on August 18, 1810, he was directed to Spain and waged war there from 1808 to 1814. Berlier died in his home Department of Valence in 1821.
