A Monumental Teakwood Dining Table

This simple and elegantly angular dining table is made from reclaimed teakwood in Chiang Mai, Thailand. The design is based on 1950's modern designs found in Burma and Thailand in Southeast Asia after WWII. The wood is extraordinarily thick -4 1/2". It has been finished with a special gray-black stain and wash, and sealed in clear dull lacquer. The top is a single slab of teak wood.
