A Pair of Carved Chinese Architectural Pegs Lamps

This pair of custom table lamps was fashioned from cylindrical wooden pegs originally belonging to an architectural frame. Each lamp is deeply carved with sinuous dragons and koi fish surrounding a central flaming pearl, also known as the “ball of power.” The layered relief and aged patina bring movement and depth to the intricate imagery. Mounted on simple black bases and paired with tapered black shades, the carved fragments have been transformed into sculptural lighting from our workshop.
