Thinly potted and hand-built, the vessel features a domed top with a tubular spout, oval opening, and a wide strap handle incised with geometric motifs. Rope-pattern decoration encircles the lower neck, while the hollow splayed legs terminate in pointed feet, reflecting the technical sophistication of early Chinese ceramic craftsmanship. Forms of this type likely served ritual or ceremonial functions, combining utilitarian design with the abstract aesthetic sensibility characteristic of early Bronze Age Chinese pottery traditions.
