A Pair of Chinese Side Tables

An elegant pair of tall Chinese side tables with slender proportions, center shelves, horse-hoof feet, finished in dark oxblood lacquer. In Chinese culture, these tables would have been found in a wealthy home and used decoratively, most often to hold a pair of porcelain vases. In a modern home, they may be used in the same way or even as bedside tables. These pieces are made from elm wood and have been carefully restored and refinished.
