A Burmese Musician Enclosure Segment

A Burmese musician enclosure segment mounted on a plywood backing. Burmese traditional musicians once played seated behind a circular fence. Each segment is hand-carved and covered in red cinnabar lacquer and gold leaf. Small chips of colored glass mirror add sparkle and interest. A fifth segment is available, though not yet mounted. Fully assembled, the circle was a bout 6' in diameter and was held together with metal clips. The pieces can be hung horizontally or vertically or arranged in a grid. Price for each. Four Available.
