A Carved Naga Panel

This Naga carved panel embodies the warrior spirit of Nagaland. The stacked, shield-like forms and abstract geometry symbolize strength, protection, and the valor of warriors who defended their clan and asserted dominance over rivals. Such panels adorned the façades of men’s morungs (warrior houses), proclaiming victories and invoking ancestral spirits. It is currently mounted on a custom metal stand for display. It can also be mounted on the wall, with a cleat provided for installation.
