A large scale, solidly potted sixteenth century Ming Period Cizhou pottery vase, decorated in the traditional manner with caramel glazes upon a cream ground. These vessels were once used to store Chinese wines and liquors. Most of these libations were consumed during festival and celebration. Two available.
